Mayfield is the lovechild Curtis Mayfield never knew about with singer/song writer, Carl Fidler.
Initially as a healing process for a decade of writing pop rock anthems, Mayfield soon became a powerhouse of high energy dance floor madness with a sprinkling of emotionally charged ballads.
The original line up included:
Glenn Moorhouse – MD, guitar
Jade Howard – vocals
Juliane Di Sisto – vocals
Heidi Maguire – keys, trumpet
Corey Gilham – bass
Dane Leonard – drums
Years later, the music has resurfaced as a solo project for Fidler. With a nod to the glory days, he’s recreating the intensity of that live exchange to satisfy his relentless desire to make funky dance floor destroyers and moments of sheer beauty.
